I dunno, though. I actually kind of like her take on the song, it has a quiet vibe. Better than her normal, auto-tuned crap. Good blog, btw. Loyal follower!

  Oh, I wasn’t dissing the song. It’s actually a good cover, in the best sense: it re-imagines the song instead of merely replaying it. But this means a Sudden New Respect will start to gather about her, and that makes me tired inside.

    Every pop artist is trying to keep up in a losing race against The Power of Adele. You’re right about Ke$ha, though. Once again, I enjoy listening to her take, but every teenager will be using this as proof of her musical genius. All the while, they will forget that she was the mastermind behind the lyric, “…brush my teeth with a bottle of Jack…”
