Occasionally, I check the reports on Kindle Direct Publishing, to see how many copies I have sold of things. This puts me in the group of “Authors who sit in front of their computer, compulsively hitting Refresh over and over to see their Amazon ranking like one of those perpetual motion bird toys. Peck. Peck. Peck.” per Larry Correia’s Official Alphabetical List of Author Success.
In any case, I discovered two things this week:
- I have sold more copies of Void than I realized I had.
- When Void was published in 2018, I was not using Scrivener and so my books were not optimally formatted. They’re fine, but they could be better.
So, I reformatted Void last night, both ebook and paperback, to optimize reader experience. They’re both up and running on Amazon now.
Also, the free ebook deal for Don’t Touch the Dead has now expired. I might maybe to a countdown deal for it later, but we’ll have to see. If you did take advantage of the giveaway, consider leaving a review.
