Glass Mind Theater is a troupe of Hip Young Gunslingers that likes to bring the “play” back to playacting. They recently did a production of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream (featuring the lovely and talented mother of my children) which made me enjoy and think about that odd little fairy romp in new ways.
So keenly look I forward to working with this company on their upcoming short play festival/mashup, Brainstorm the Fourth. The theme is Classic Characters, and they want to hear ideas! Tweet (to @GlassMindThtr) or post on their Facebook page the iconic types that come to your mind when “classic character” comes unbidden to you.
Myself, I’m hoping for something out of Hesiod. I’m a great big dork like that.
