So that’s one thing Trump’s accomplished, as his supporters will doubtless bleat.
I will not support Trump if he is the nominee. I will not vote for him. The devil you know is still a devil, and worse yet: you don’t really know him at all.

This, surely is part of the reason Trump is pulling followers. It demonstrates how thoroughly the Republican Party machine has become isolated from its voter base.
